Impax Asset Management is launching an Asian Environmental Markets investment trust on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.
The fund will aim to offer investors long-term capital growth from environmental stocks in the Asia Pacific region.
Impax specialises in equity and infrastructure funds, investing in the efficient energy industry.
The trust will be co-managed by Impax MD Bruce Jenkyn-Jones and David Li of Hong Kong-based Ajia Partners.
Jenkyn-Jones says: "There are many exciting, undervalued companies in the region that are supplying local environmental markets as well as international demand."
