Flight to Asia continues on FundsNetwork

Investors are continuing to look East for current equity opportunities, with a number of Asia-focused funds among the top sellers on Fidelity FundsNetwork in July.

The platform's top 10 best-selling vehicles last month included Fidelity's South East Asia, China Focus and India Focus funds. China and India were among the top sellers in June also.

Asia Pacific ex Japan was the platform's third best selling sector last month, beaten only by UK Money Market and UK All Companies.

Fidelity's Cash fund is the best seller for July, having also topped the table the previous month.

Fidelity International head of UK personal Investments Rob Fisher says: "For the first time in almost a year, UK equities have been the best selling sector amongst self-directed investors pushing cash into second place and reflecting increased confidence in equities following recent market rallies."
