Former marketing head Peter Mackaness has left Axa Real Estate Investment Managers to join Threadneedle. Last week he took up his role as investment specialist on the property team, working across all the group's investment funds. Reporting to the distribution department, Mackaness' job will be to link the two divisions, with a view to developing and marketing property products for Threadneedle's institutional and retail client base.
