Paul Butler has left his role as head of global equities at Newton after more than two decades at the firm. His £641.89m Newton International Growth fund has passed to Jon Bell, who will also be responsible for several segregated pension portfolios. Bell will head up the group's global equity model portfolio, supported by Alex Stanic, James Harries and Paul Markham. Stanic will continue to chair the global equity model portfolio group and weekly meetings, following Butler's decision to pursue other interests outside the industry.
