F&C has made Richard Wilson head of equities and has hired Paul Grice from Barings to head up its UK and international government bond desk. Wilson was previously head of pan-European equities at the group and the move is part of a corporate restructuring that has seen the role of chief investment officer disappear to be replaced with a business focused head of investments in the form of Fernando Ribeiro.
