Marsico Capital Management has turned over 96% of the Gartmore US Opportunities fund since taking over the management from Gil Knight last month. Portfolio manager and senior analyst at Denver-based Marsico Cory Gilchrist has only kept four out of 100 original stocks since the handover on 29 June. Investment Week reported on 21 June that Gilchrist and the team at Marsico will run the Gartmore funds after a period of underperformance under former managers Knight, Chris Baggini and Gary Haubold.
