Phil Wagstaff has assumed his role as global head of distribution at Gartmore today, ahead of his expected start date in early October. He was previously head managing director, UK retail sales and marketing at New Star. Wagstaff will be responsible for the distribution of retail, institutional and alternative products in the UK, Europe, Japan and the US, as well as marketing, client service and product development. Paul Feeney, Gartmore's head of distribution, is still in talks withGartmore over his continued role within the company.
