When most people hear the name 'Allianz' they automatically think of insurance - perhaps unsurprisingly, given the group is a global leader. But the company's asset management division, Allianz Global Investors - launched in 2012 from a family of smaller boutiques - is also well on its way to becoming a worldwide name.
