Natalie Kenway talks to Invesco Perpetual co-head of fixed interest Paul Causer about the challenges the team has faced during 20 years of managing money, as well as the big issues for today's bond investors.

Over the past 20 years, Invesco Perpetual's Paul Causer and Paul Read have grown their fixed interest team to 23 members, running £28.5bn in assets under management across 20 funds.  The pair joined the Henley-based fund group back in 1994, where they launched the Perpetual PEP Bond Fund - now the £5.5bn Corporate Bond fund.  During the past two decades, they have developed the range to reflect growing demand for strategic bond vehicles, as well as more specialist mandates. They have never been afraid to stick with their convictions, even launching the Global Financial Capital fund...
