Uncertainty abounds across the global political spectrum and whilst it is too early to say what effect President Trump's economic and foreign policies will have on the Asian region, including Japan, one hopes that reasoning conducive to continuing free trade will prevail, writes Richard Aston, manager of the CC Japan Income & Growth Trust.
