China's move to a consumption-led economy should not lead to a hard landing, says iShares' Wei Li.

Making the transition from an investment-driven economy to a consumption economy, like China is attempting, has never been done for an economy of that size before. It is happening against the backdrop of a below-trend global growth environment and the headline decrease in economic growth figures that inevitably comes with such a transition has fuelled - and will continue to fuel - fears of a hard-landing scenario.
