What’s in a name? Shakespeare debated this point over 400 years ago, and investors might very well wonder the same about Abenomics in Japan today. Abenomics burst onto the scene late in 2012, when Shinzo Abe was elected Japan’s Prime Minister. The three policy ‘arrows’ of Abenomics include reforms which aim to kick-start growth and move Japan into a mild inflationary environment. This quickly gathered the attention of the international economic and investment community.
