What is needed to get structured products accepted as mainstream?

Can we please stop using the term ‘structured products’? My reasoning is quite straightforward. The term ‘structured products’ conjures up many pre-conceived and often ill-conceived ideas that I am sure many advisers share and, being objective on the issue, I guess I would have to agree with some but certainly not all.
