As yields compress and value dries up in many mainstream asset classes, managers and analysts identify the alternatives they believe can offer the best returns.

We currently favour relatively mature funds biased towards exiting investments rather than putting new funds to work, particularly in those parts of the world where valuations are looking a bit stretched. The backdrop for realisations should continue to be good, with growth picking up in the developed world and interest rates looking unlikely to move meaningfully higher for some time. ...
