Where should I put my money in 2012?

It's the question every adviser and wealth manager gets asked at this time of the year, so Investment Week's editorial director Lawrence Gosling decided to ask four fund managers running a diverse collection of portfolios to find out the answer. He debates the issues with a bond manager, two equity managers, and multi-asset investor to get some wisdom on what markets hold for 2012.

The Editor's Pick panel includes:

Ian Mortimer - Manager, Guinness Global Equity Income Fund, Guinness Asset Management

John Husselbee - Chief Investment Officer, North Investment Partners

Bryn Jones - Fixed Income Investment Director and Manager of the Rathbone Strategic Bond Fund and Rathbone Ethical Bond Fund, Rathbone Unit Trust Management

Hugh Yarrow - Investment Manager, Wise Investment
