Doomsday for the euro(land)

Around 15 years ago Rees-Mogg went further to say that the inevitable collapse of the euro would spell the end of euroland itself. Understandably national interests would take precedence over the great integration experiment. thank goodness for euro scepticism and the Major opt out of the euro. We saw what happened to Britain when Nigel Lawson tried to shadow the Dmark in the late 80's sucking in inflation that had been eradicated in the first half of the 80's by Howe. You only have to look at the eurovision song contest to realise the value of Europe to Britain QED!!
