Crux's Pease warns investors face testing times in Europe

Investors need to 'hold their nerve'

European equity manager Richard Pease has said the region is set to encounter a number of challenges, but urged investors to "hold their nerve" rather than jumping ship.

The manager of the £1.2bn Crux European Special Situations and £22m European funds said he has "fundamental concerns" about a lack of inflation, low growth, and uncertainty caused by the EU referendum. In particular, he is worried about the effects of mass migration, which test the whole concept of European unity.  Pease (pictured) said: "Germany has one million migrants that do not naturally fit in the society they are in and they want to redistribute this to the rest of Europe that does not want them."
