Shifting market dynamics may catch out UK investors

David Urch, lead manager of the TB Garraway UK Equity Market fund, says investors should not be so complacent when it comes to global crises and the potential impact they can have on UK companies.

This month's 'no' vote by the Greek people over the international creditors' terms for a debt bailout unnerved markets, and the long-term consequences for the euro and European Monetary Union are uncertain – however much the short-term impact is contained by central authorities.  Further afield, it is hard to avoid negative newsflow about emerging markets.
