Blue Sky Asset Management has agreed to a takeover by US investment bank Incapital, in a move to expand its structured product offering.
The listed hedge fund sector looks set to contract as trusts face continuation votes and many are wound up, despite taking action to narrow their discounts.

The proposed interim levy on the investment intermediary sub-class in 2009/10 following the failures of Keydata and two stockbrokers has been cut from £70m to £58m, although the structured product-related charge has increased by £2m, the FSCS confirms today.
